You will be doing business with the man who bred the sows, farrowed and weighed the pigs, and helped them grow. Randy has worked with the pigs from conception to delivery.

The National Barrow Show is held annually in Austin, MN with the first show occuring in 1946. In 2021, the breed associations decided to give a legacy award to a farmer of each breed for their participation and support for this event. Randy Schmidt received this honor as the first winner of the Chester White Legacy Award. Through the years he had more Chester White NBS progeny test groups than anyone else, and in recent years he has exhibited purebred Chester White Truckloads and has had 4 Hog College Boars as well as boars in the regular show.

We are members of the National SPF® Swine Accrediting Agency, with some of the most stringent requirements of any health program in the world. We breed and artificially inseminate our pigs with some of the top genetics in the world.
Our herd is primarily Chester Whites, Durocs, Yorkshires, and Berkshires. However, we can breed for other combinations as well.
Our Customers
Over 75% of our sales are to repeat customers. One of the most distinguished boar studs in the country has bought more Chester White boars from us than anyone else.
We have sold to over 30 states, 3 countries, and hosted visitors from China, Philippines, and Canada. Some of the finest SPF production-oriented Chester Whites, Durocs, Yorkshires, and Berkshires in the world!
Data Driven
We have had many pigs in public, unbiased production test stations. Our purebred and F1 Chester Whites have been top indexing or fastest growing over all breeds at state production contests.
We have also participated in the National Barrow Show® progeny test. We have had more Chester White Super Sires than anyone in the history of the test. We also collect extensive on-farm data.
